Primary being, UT,OU, OSU and CU where all talking to Pac 12...NU was very concerned it would be left out in cold, and it would have been as they never would have went to SEC, not a good fit.

During this time,or shortly after both MU and NU where also talking to other conferences, they had to, or they both would have been left out in cold. NU made a good choice, and so did MU.
