scored more runs than we did.

If those balls had been caught, the other team might have scored more runs anyway.

It's too simplistic to say 'make this play, make that play' and we win.

It's a battle of wills, the team with the strongest will to win has the best chance - regardless of hits/runs/errors.

It's not a matter of giving anyone more time to figure anything out, it's a matter of giving them more time to play the position and get comfortable at the D1 level.

We're talking about true freshman, there is such a thing as player development.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
