Rashad Brandon looks like a player.
We’re talkin’ about practice – and spring practice, at that -- so take this with a grain of salt, but Brandon has turned a few heads.
The junior college transfer looks as good as any healthy defensive tackle Missouri has in camp. (As a reminder, DTs Terry Beckner Jr. and Markell Utsey are coming off fall ACL surgery and have had their participation limited.)
Brandon wasn’t initially expected to be one of Missouri’s early enrollees, so his presence in spring camp has been a pleasant bonus.
“To have him here, in shape the way he is, playing as hard as he is, and making an impact that he’s made so far, he’s definitely been an upgrade, not only from ability, but also from depth, so we’re very excited,” Cross said.
