my worries about him correct. I only saw him play once in HS and I voiced those concerns on TB at that time. I readily acknowledged that it is hard to make a firm judgement after only one game, but there were some things that jumped out. In a state playoff game, he was completely worthless and dominated by a kid who is now playing baseball until the final 5 minutes of the game when Puryear decided to start participating.
Now I see a id who is over-relied upon and simply can't be a go-to player at this level. MU and Puryear himself would be much better if he were coming off the bench behind a legitimate go-to PF.
