right now Kentucky is a 4 seed, not in the ESPN projections but where it counts, in the top 16 reveal of the selection committee updated yesterday. Winning the SEC would mean beating Tenn/TAMU/Kentucky in the quarterfinals, then most likely South Carolina and Miss State in the semis and finals. Those 3 wins added to our current resume would result in a #4 national seed, easily.
Don't think it will come close to happening, but 1-2 wins even in the SEC tourney will likely get us to a 5 seed. As long as we don't slip up on the road at Bama this weekend.
