I think Beiser should be able to find 3 solid starters out of Houck, Plassmeyer, Toelken and Carter (and maybe Sikkema). I think this staff will be made or broken by Montes de Oca. If he can be serviceable in a middle relief or midweek starter role, then this staff could be good enough to win some games. If not, I don't know who else has the talent to pitch well in the SEC. That person might exist, we just don't know who that is yet.
Also, is Lake Dabney alive? He was one of the more promising pitchers 2 years ago. I know he was injured last year, but I thought for sure we'd see him by now.
