I used to identify with and consider myself a pretty staunch conservative, but I think the combination of R's moving further right and me re-evaluating my thoughts and beliefs has moved me squarely into being libertarian now.
But I also will say that the way that the left/liberals have engaged the country/people/the media has turned me off equally as much. I honestly despise both R's and D's equally at this point (I really don't like grouping so many people together in such general terms, but whatevs).
