but there has been a media bias verses Mizzou in STL ever since I was a little kid. The average St. Louisan would also often view our program negatively. (I feel this had to do with our FB program's struggles through the 80's and 90's.)
I'm 30 now and I remember after the 2007 season and up into our entry into the SEC and subsequent few years those relations started to improve. I credit that to Pinkel and Brad Smith who were some of the first imo to instill winning in the program. (Some will credit Corby Jones)
It seems like the protests of 15' accompanied with losing seasons brought back that negative stigmata from the past. Time and winning will heal imo. Hopefully Richards can help the healing process too.
