I like watching softball in part because it is relatively fast moving, particularly in relation to baseball. Was there really a problem that needed to be solved here? I think some teams overdo the conferences at the pitchers mound, I often though EE was talking about the weather or where they were going to eat after the game. Then of course you have the better teams often run ruling inferior opponents, which shortens games too.

Guess that's why they are experimenting with the new rules. Wonder what their goal is, if any? If games are shortened by 5 minutes, so what?

Please explain why this message is being reported.
