Just got back from the volleyball game - great win!

Pretty good crowd, definitely into and really cheering the Tigers on. The energy in the first set from the crowd and players was incredible as they raced out to a big lead. Purdue's attack sharpened in the second set and Missouri hitters started missing, but it was still relatively close, Tigers just trailed by 2-3 points most of that set.
Third set was almost as good as the first for the Tigers - they just kept widening the lead throughout that set and won going away. Fourth set was much closer, with the Tigers down by 3 early on, 8-5, but then came back and gradually pulled ahead. It tightened up just slightly at the end but they still won comfortably.
Overall, MU was clearly the superior defensive team and flashed more versatility from it's players. Purdue had a few dominant hitters, but were way more inconsistent than MU and at times seemed to go flat.
Great revenge win from 3 years ago. Now on to Minnesota!
