for incompetence. Its not like it is hard for MU to be competitive in both sports or that some kind of choice needs to be made and give up on the one not chosen.

MU could not send a message any clearer: men's basketball is not important at Missouri anymore. They could probably print it on the tickets, except then most fans wouldn't see it.

But I think your question is should it be, and yes obviously it should be important and MU is very stupid in taking such an approach. And if we put a decent product together MU fans would care and find it important again.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
