nature of college football. The problem is the lack of depth and preparation to replace leaving players, and most of all the decision to change the only thing we were good at. With the putrid offense last year, the only goal should have been to maintain the quality defense as much as you can. Change the scheme next Spring, whatever....but Odom had to know the importance of maximizing this side of the ball this season while Lock grows and Heupel gets us straightened out.

Seems like Odom and company are just as shocked as we are by the ineptitude of the defense. He's the expert! Better know what you are doing before it blows up in your face. Now we have no momentum going into recruiting, are a program begging players to come so they can play early. What a circus.
