I look into everything way too heavily

So that needs to be considered when I post anything. I overreact big time. However, last season I found myself fairly surprised by the poor decision making often times by Phillips who is sold as a really smart player and coming from one of the top high school programs in the country. Obviously he was just a freshmen, so I would not crush the kid for those freshmen mistakes. When I see clips like this and previous practices and the games this summer I continue to see him dribble himself into really bad positions and just throw the ball nonchalantly out of it. It makes me wonder whether we should expect to see much of the same with him as a year ago. I will say his scoring ability from the perimeter was a pleasant surprise to me, but his overall basketball IQ when it came to running a team and defending was well below what I anticipated.
Watching the clip again, I overreacted, so I think this is more from other things I have watched where it makes me question whether the offense really will run much better.
