To put that in context, Keith Ramsey was the leading scorer in our last NCAA tourney win and Jon Underwood made a brief appearance. In fact, setting aside the 2008-09 run the other last 13 seasons MU has combined for only 1 NCAA tourney win. That is absurd, and likely won't be ending any time soon.

Winning a tourney game seems so distantly remote at this point I'm not sure how to even begin to project when it could likely occur again. With the passing of Bob Vanatta this weekend, I'm reminded that Norm Stewart will be turning 82 years old this season. Will he get to see the program he spent his life building return to respectability? It seems a very real possibility that we could go an entire decade without an NCAA tourney win. And with the prior instance of MU finishing last in conference pre-dating Norm taking over, a real possibility exists that we finish 14th for the 3rd straight season in the SEC.
