And the signing period goes until Nov 16 this year. You should see the confirmation on the Mizzou website around Nov 12.
So far the good news is there have been no public decommittnents from the verbals previously received from next years class and those beyond. But all that means, I'm afraid, is no verbally committed recruit made a knee jerk reaction to decommit in the immediate wake of the mess here. That's good. But you know opposing coaches are continuing to go after our best commitments and trying to get them to switch and using the turmoil here as a negative recruiting tool.
I won't breathe a sigh of relief until the names are on the dotted line for the 2017 class, which is reportedly one of the best in the nation. And we will see if the negative recruiting will have any effect on the classes after that. I think it's too early to tell what the final impact will be.
