Gaziantep Basketbol (BSL) agreed terms with 26-year old American guard Marcus Denmon (191-84kg-90, college: Missouri). He played last summer at Hunan in Chinese NBL league. In 6 games he had very impressive stats: 44.5ppg, 5.7rpg, 1.7apg and 2.5spg. The last season Denmon played at Istanbul BBSK where in 21 BSL games he recorded also remarkable stats: 15.3ppg, 3.6rpg, 1.7apg and 1.3spg.
In 2012 he was drafted by San Antonio Spurs (NBA) in second round (59th overall). Denmon attended University of Missouri and it will be his fifth season in pro basketball.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he played in the final of NBA Pro Summer League in Utah in 2015. Denmon was also voted NABC Division I All-District 8 1st Team back in 2012 at his college time.
Denmon represented USA at the World University Games in Shenzhen (China) five years ago. His stats at that event were 7 games: 8.3ppg, 1.9rpg, 1.4apg, 1.9spg, FGP: 56.7%, 3PT: 17.6%, FT: 75.0%.
Denmon has played also professionally in France (Chalon/Saor), Italy (Enel Brindisi) and Turkey (Tofas).
