your take on them both leaving, after all that happened lately? Gillis leaving is not anywhere near the loss of D'Amour. Will be interesting to see what kind of assistant coaches EE can attract after the cluster fk that occurred. You would hope he can bring in a top notch recruiter and pitching coach, maybe 2 people or maybe one person who fits both bills. And experience with recruiting the talent rich south and/or west would be nice. Maybe a current assistant from an SEC or PAC12 team or other up and coming top 25 program? I wonder if he tries to bring back any former players to play any role on his coaching staff, not as the top assistant (none of them have the experience or stature yet for that, although a number have moved on to coaching positions at smaller schools).
