Or in Dodd's case, just intentionally misleading. Here is our starting OL for 2012:
LT Elvis Fisher: He was our starting LT every game his RS freshman, sophomore, and junior seasons. He got hurt before last season, and missed every game, so he got a medical redshirt and is back at LT. He is our best OL, but Dodd counts it as a negative that he is our LT.
LG Travis Ruth: Our starting center last season. He's a more natural fit at guard, probably because he sucks at shotgun snaps.
C Mitch Morse: The only true newcomer on the DL. Supposed to be an excellent shotgun snapper, which was somehow a problem all last season.
RG Jack Meiners: Started seven games at guard last season and was the 6th man when not starting. He has played both guard and tackle positions. He's also the strongest guy on the team.
RT Justin Britt: He was our starting LT every game last season after Fisher got hurt. Fisher is back, so he got moved to RT.
The only guy that hasn't started a significant number of games is Morse. Any talk of how losing three starting OL hurts without mentioning that Fisher, our best and most experienced, is back, is misleading.
