We've seen the electronic movable 10-yard 'line' on television. Would it be possible to set up something like that in on a real field, say perhaps with connecting laser beams from the chain poles? If so this would give the QB, receivers and RBs a fairly accurate estimate of distance to be reached. Such a laser connection would be disturbed by interference from linemen, of course. Is there any other way to do it? Get our EE guys to thinking about it and set a Mizzou first.
