Opinion on SEC

I didn't know where to post this, but here goes.
I retired to Florida 16 years ago. I must admit I had a rather low opinion of SEC school's academic levels at the time. I have come to realize that UF is a quality institution with very high standards and substantial academic programs. The same can be said for UGA. Vandy certainly is also. I cannot speak to the other SEC schools, although I know that A&M brings much to the table.
From what I have seen, UF does a better job of publicity about its academic programs than Mizzou does. MU needs to spread some serious PR around the nation. Make a splash or two for some attention. It would be worth it to the value of an MU degree.
