As Mizzou prepares for its first football season as a member of the Southeastern Conference, the Mizzou Alumni Association is on a mission to find the most spirited Tiger fans around.
The Let Us SE-C Your Spirit Challenge is a video contest for alumni, fans and friends who bleed black and gold. Mizzou fans are among the most spirited in the nation and the MAA wants to see and hear what Mizzou means to the University's biggest supporters. If you've got Tiger pride, this contest is for you!
Video entries should be between 30 seconds and two minutes long and can be serious and touching or wild and wacky as long as they express what Mizzou means to you. All entrants will receive an SEC-themed gift and once all entries are collected the MAA staff will select the top six videos and put them to a public vote to determine the grand prize winner.
The video with the most votes will win a Mizzou football weekend for two including tickets to the inaugural SEC game against Georgia (Sept. 8), a two-night stay at the Stoney Creek Inn, dinner at Shakespeare's and loads of SEC spirit items.
While video entries are preferred, fans can also choose to submit photos and a story explaining why they are Mizzou's No. 1 fan. The deadline for entries is 5:00 pm, August 15, and public voting for the six finalists will begin the week of August 20.
