at first. Remember people cheering him from freeway overpasses? It took a little while, but most people turned the other way after they had time to process the idea someone was not who they wanted to believe he was.
It will eventually be like that for JoPa-it will just take longer. But the next generation will want nothing to do with him, and will look at older people defending him in a strange way.
It will take time, but eventually this is where JoPa's legend will end up-because nothing else he did, with exception of winning a lot of football games, is tangible the same way his failure in the Sandusky scandal is.
If they leave the statue now they'll be looking for ways to take it down a decade or two from now.
