I'll answer.

one man is behind bars and never getting out, the other is dead, and when the many others involved are prosecuted, then the matter is closed. Of course Joe Pa's name needs to be taken off of everything and his legacy erased.

Then, the university should resume business as usual. It's the quickest way to heal.
