No one has called for Penn State University to be shut down. Yet, you want to compare Penn State to Catholicism.

Your analogy is off to begin with. Had anyone said "shut down higher education because of what Penn State did" then your analogy works.

I have no problem with the Catholic Church closing any parish where pedophilia by its priest(s) occurred.

And, what about all the innocent parishoners? What ever will become of them?
