He promised to take Royal hitter in the Derby and then did not follow through on his promise. If there wasn't a deserving Royal then fine but Butler would have been an easy choice. He had more home runs this year than some selected. Trumbo only had 5 more for the season but Butler has almost double the career home runs and they are the same age.
