put things in the proper context?
"All told in those 4 combined periods of 70 games ku went 65-5 (93%). Obviously those games were played and those outcomes occurred, so this isn’t to say it shouldn’t count."
That isn't re-writing history, its putting history in context. Its using clearly defined facts, stating assumptions, and explaining the premise behind any assumed changes. I'm not surprised to see you can't recognize the distinction.
MU gets to play on a level playing field. Its ku that doesn't operate on a level playing field. That is what happens when you purposely circumvent the NCAA's method of self policing, operate basically outside the scope of the NCAA's definition of Lack of Institutional Control on a constant basis, and have a fanbase and media so bent on not caring 'how' achievements occur on the court. Which you are certainly entitled to and the NCAA has demonstrated it has no interest in stepping in and meaningfully punishing ku for. Which is why I'm glad MU is no longer associated with ku and you can now operate on a non-level playing field in obscurity in whatever conference you end up in.
