They tailgate on grass down there 6 or 7 times each fall. I assume it holds up fine. And I'm sure there are countless other examples of grassy areas around the country where tailgating occurs.

I love The Quad, and its pristine nature, too. But I'm just saying, tailgating (especially if lots would be cut out or reduced in expansion plans) may be an opportunity to love The Quad even more. And maybe not as far fetched an idea as many seem to think.
