was he bats flat footed, very little leg lift and the few games I saw it seemed like he got fooled sometimes.

I suspect sooner or later a hitting coach will adjust that. There are some guys, Jim Edmonds comes to mind, who have success at the MLB level with that approach but they are uncommon.

Good athlete though and I believe he will make it to MLB eventually. The thing about pro baseball if you have a weakness the whole league will find out about it and you will have to adjust.
Garcia also has a chance and will improve defensively with more playing time.
