So this is really a 4 team, post-bowl playoff?

or in other words an 8 team playoff?
Top 8 teams go to BCS bowls. Likely in almost every year the 4 winners go to the four team playoff? Per Swaim

Neutral sites for semi's as well. Probably doesn't move realignment as much as it would've otherwise, as now #ACC champ has a better shot.

Top four with emphasis on conference champions after the bowls. Probably best we could've hoped, which really means bowls round of eight ;)
