For Missouri residents that makes an easy morning drive and an easy return drive, usually with daylight, and without a hotel bill.

It makes extremely cold weather more likely to be at a reasonable temperature.

It is traditional.

The sun is out.

Fewer drunks on the road.
Gets you out of doing yardwork in the afternoon.

The least likely time to be having sex.
