also happened to be a drug dealer. He wasn't traveling with the team in the capacity of a drug dealer.

It was a distraction for Mike Alden, not the team. Alden had to orchestrate an internal investigation to ensure no wrongdoing. I've not seen anything alluding to it being a distraction for MU basketball in Omaha.
