If you google Alan Scher Zagier AP missouri the same article pops up from the San Franscisco Chronicle with his by-line.
Apparently the Post disgrace has figured out that including his name as a by-line significantly hurts the credibility of the article.
His history demonstrates his hatred for Mizzou guite clearly.
He once wrote an entire story about how the fact that MU sent out a mailer to local businesses telling them not to give freebees to athletes must mean that MU athletes were getting tons of illegal freebees.
It was just a routine compliance mailer that ADs are supposed to sent out routinely to remind retailers of the rules. In Alan's mind it was a very important sign that Mizzou was scum.
As far as I know, he has zero actual qualifications to write about college sports. He just hates MU so much he wades into sports everytime he sees an opportunity to smear MU.
Has anyone seen a Zagier article about college sports about any other topic than MU?
