Missouri and Kansasans are both midwestern states made up of midwestern folks. The Mizzou and Kansas fan bases come primarily from those folks. There's not much difference between them. There's the ususal distribution of interest from those who live and die with the latest happenings in Tiger or Jayhawk basketball to those who don't much care. And the latter group is the majority in both cases.

If and when you have enough experience in the ways of the world, you'll find that MU-KU games are just games, they're entertainment, nothing more. And once you learn that, you'll find that they are probably a lot more enjoyable and those folks on the other side of the gym or the other sideline are not all that different.
