Network. Nobody else did that. There were reasons why neither the PAC or the SEC or the Big 12 did it first.

Delany figured it out ahead of others and made it happen. That took guts.

I never said he was a visionary, but he is smart. I don't thinks it's necessary to demonize someone just because we disagree with them or do something we don't like. When someone gets me fired up, it's usually because of a repeated pattern of bad behavior, not once or twice.

From what I have observed, Mike Slive is as smart or smarter than Jim Delany, and I believe that Slive will end up on top no matter how things shake out. I am thrilled to be part of a conference that he leads. My biggest concern is who takes over when he retires, because the man is no spring chicken.
