Mizzou will return an extremely explosive offense in 2013. James Franklin will be a SR, with 2 years of starting under his belt. Marcus Murphy and L'Damian Washington will be SR's as well. DGB will be a SO and I can only imagine how good he will be by then. Darius White will most likely fill in T.J. Moe's spot, and could very well be more explosive than Moe. Josey should be back to full strength and will most likely be a RS JR. Murphy, White, Steward, and Hansbrough could all get some good playing time. While we lose a lot on the OL in LT Fisher, LG Ruth, and RG Meiners, I think that we have the potential to really surprise people. Mitch Morse should start at OC and Justin Britt will be at either RT or LT. Other OL I expect to start are: Boehm (LG or RG), Nick Demien (LG or RG), Chris Freeman (LT or RT...he is a BEAST @ 6'8" 325).
On the defensive side of the ball, we will return Ealy, Vincent, and Sam...all projected to start this season. Hoch and Burnett are two more that should make some noise on the DL. Our LB corps will be losing two huge players in Gooden and Ebner, but will return Wilson and Bonner. Others that have huge potential, but will be FR or SO are: Newsom, Boozer, Scherer, Ramirez, and Burkett (maybe Beisel and Minor as well?). Our secondary will pose the biggest ?'s IMO. Gaines will return, and other guys with experience returning include: Ponder, Webb, Easterly, White, and Smith. Abbington, Stewart, Cuffee, and Gibson are underclassmen that could surprise.
Bright, Bright future ahead for the Tigers!
