Obviously alot of our struggles were due to cramming round pegs into square holes in terms of our system and players who didn't fit it, but alot of it was also due to having an overwelmed freshman at the most critical position and no productive option at the small forward position as well.

He was only 2 years removed from a national coach of the year award at that point. He could coach players, he just couldn't coach players who didn't fit his system and that is what he ended up compiling a team of.
