apparently ku has been the best basketball team in the country the last 16 years.
You know, you may be right. After all, you guys are, clearly, SO superior to all of us. Not just to those of us in Kansas, of course, but superior to all of us in the lowly Big 12.
Oh, how degrading it certainly must been for you guys to have had to consort with us lowlifes for so many years. With your school's incredible record of accomplishments, and with your fanbase's unsurpassed level of character and integrity, you simply HAD to find a venue more worthy of your pristine greatness, didn't you? How can anyone blame you? Let's face it, we're just not worthy.
Damn it, you're right, tigerboardnoob. 'MU athletics is clearly on a whole different level' -- that's why your athletic department sees fit to hang banners in your field house for those years a Missouri team simply manages to PARTICIPATE in the NCAA men's basketball tournament. That's like how they give trophies to all the kids on a little league team -- no matter how many games the team may have won, no matter how little any of the kids may have played. You don't have to achieve anything. You're a 'winner' if you just participate. Well, THAT pretty well sums up YOUR athletic department to us 'beakers'.
Even if it is 'just one sport', at least we found a way to ACHIEVE something; of being the best. Best in our conference and best in the country. For the last 16 years, you were never the best. Not in that conference you feel so superior towards. Or in the country. Your school could never ACHIEVE anything. And still hasn't. And that's why it's you clowns that are the ones that fail, friend.
