resembles doing them a favor. What is hypocritical about that?

Missouri leaves the conference in classless fashion and then (incredibly) acts surprised when Kansas won't schedule them. You don't think Alden knew he was ending a rivalry? Missouri makes its choice and acts shocked (shocked I tell you!) when the inevitable occurs.
