restrictive and essentially regional schedule that membership in the B1G would demand. ND wants to have the best of both worlds which is why their non revenue sports are in the BE.

Notre Dame will, or has, quickly determined that they can dictate their membership terms to the ACC because that conference is currently desperate. They don't have that same leverage w/ the B1G. It would be a win-win for the ACC and ND, if ND could somehow accommodate their existing rivalries w/ SC and the B1G teams that are currently on their schedule. We already know that rivalries have been casualties w/ realignment.
