If the SEC is the strongest FB conference (and it is) and if MU never won a Big12 title, why would MU now become an elite FB program?

I think the SEC will be great for MU BB, but it will not be a good move for MU FB in the long run. I can't see MU getting to the SEC title game or winning the SEC. And, there is simply far too many insanely competitive teams in the SEC for MU to get to that level.

I could be wrong.
