Will play 9 conference games:
3 teams in your own division
4 teams from another division (the division you
play will rotate yearly; will play all the East teams one year, South teams the next, etc.)
1 team each from the remaining 2 divisions (these will be your cross divisional rivals, and you will have one for each of the 3 other divisions. you will play these teams annually.)
The 4 division winners will play in the a Final Four. Example, if the SEC West happened to play the SEC South during the stated regular season, then they will meet in one semi-finals, and so on.
Finally, the conference champion will then be declared National Champions of all the Universe, and everyone will celebrate with a big fat check from CBS/ESPN/Fox/Sky Sports/Whomever we negotiate our media rights with!
Hope that doesn't confuse anyone!
And I chose NCSU and VPI because of a couple of reasons. First, they are a better fit for the SEC culture. But with that said, UNC and UVA will still be our two dream candidates; I just have a feeling they would rather opt for the Big 10 or some version of an altered ACC over joining the SEC.
