How long will it take to realize any REAL financial benefits after paying the exit fee to the Big XII?

The recent moves by the Big XII have eliminated the "instability" factor people here are so fond of spouting. The financials aren't looking quite so much better either.

I would agree that the argument that MU leaving the Big XII spurred them to real action may have merit. That said...are you REALLY better off with the move as things look today?
