Criticizing us (whether you did it or not, others clearly did, including B12 AD's and commissioners) for abandoning "tradition, culture, geography" while encouraging other programs to do the same is hypocrisy, pure and simple. WVU may have been part of a dying conference, but CU and FSU aren't. They are only leaving for the money (if they leave)- which is what we were accused of doing.
And if you say "It's just business," or "It's about survival," then that would be my response for why we moved. It just doesn't work to accuse us of abandoning these things while asking other programs to do so for your own benefit.
