without reading about a pedophile teacher getting arrested after a dozen years on the job. LAUSD has dozens yjat are in their "rubber room" drawing full salary while the teacher's union is fighting their termination for groping kids.
Waaaaay back in the 70's mmore than 25% of my HS teachers had "retired on active duty" and were just going thrughthe motions in their lessons.... How many older teachers do you remember that still taught like the newer teachers did?
