I still think it would be a huge improvement if topics that are being posted in would move to the front page, even if it was in a little place off to the side. People could see the "hot" topics then. It couldn't be that hard to have an option to make it where you have the current click fest we have right now to read posts or to just load them all up like a modern discussion board does...
