History speaks differently.

Kansas specifically chose that mascot they cannot now back away from the history and say 'awww come on a jayhawk it's just a cartoon bird'

They chose to be represented by a mascot that glorifies robbery, rape and murder. Either man up and accept all that the mascot entails or admit that it was a disgusting choice and change it. Maybe something less offensive like the Arayans!
