the Jayhawk reference literally?

Here's my point:

1. The "Quantrill" reference in your handle alludes to the KU/MU rivalry, not horrendous murder. I get that.

BUT

2. The "Jayhawk" mascot alludes to a sports team, not a group of terrorists.

It's the same thing.
