While I don't disagree with your overall premise of MU being an unknown, I think any right-thinking person would put flip and dixon over heslip and jackson, along with whoever the scrubs are for KU now and the leftovers from UCLA's horrible season.

It's really a matter of laziness on the part of the pollsters. Oriaki and the Tulsa guy (can't remember his name) are recent additions, and people just took the Norfolk loss and the loss of Kimmie, Ratliffe, and Denmon and just figured we weren't going to do much and haven't updated their view since, as that requires effort.
