Tulsa (and Manning) were only allowing him to talk to three schools - Vandy, Colorado and one other - and would not allow him to talk to schools like Texas and Mizzou. That doesn't make a whole heck of a lot of sense other than that Manning and his mentor Bill Self are d-bags. But ultimately after negotiation he was allowed by Tulsa to talk to us and other schools, so everything was on the up and up.
