though you are right about NC State. UNC is to NC State in North Carolina as UF is to fsu in Florida.
Yes, there is a big disparity in the size of the fan bases, money, etc.
I think fsu is just posturing and won't actually go to the Big 12, but suppose they do. So what? They only games I'd watch would be when they played UTx and OU (I might switch to another late if it looks like they're going to lose :^) ). The overwhelming majority of the state will still tune in to watch the big SEC games like they always have.
